Spirior shines in Shanghai

Dongfeng Honda launched the first premium sports car called Spirior July 27 in Shanghai. It is called Si bo rui in Chinese, a phonetic translation of its English name.

Also featuring a 2.4l VTI Luxury model, a VTI-S 2.4l Super Luxury, and a VTI-S Navigation super luxury model, there are five different specifications for customers to choose from, and six colors.

With a maximum 133 kW power and 225 Nm torque, Spirior features a 2.4L engine and a five-speed automatic transmission.

Spirior will go on sale in early September. Vice general manager Liu Hong said 15,000 units of Spirior would be produced this year and the 2.0L models might be made if there is market demand.

He added that Dongfeng Honda would keep the prices of its vehicles stable.
