22 government departments in Beijing plan to spend 40 mln yuan on new cars

A total of 22 government departments in Beijing are planning to spend more than 40 million yuan ($6.09 million) to buy new cars, according to the Beijing News Wednesday.

Government cars include sedans, law enforcement patrol vehicles and business vehicles. Street Lighting Administration Center of Beijing's budget for purchasing new cars is of 6.34 million yuan.
