comment
Jaguar China confirmed with Huanqiu Online that it will announce a voluntary recall of some imported 2010 XF and XK vehicles in the Chinese market.
A PR staff of the company (China) surnamed Gao denied previous rumors its cars were leaking oil.
National Highway Traffic Safety Administration of the US reported that the power assist steering (pas) pipes have been supplied with zinc-nickel plating, which do not fully meet corrosion protection requirements of Jaguar's engineering specifications, and "after an extended period of time in service, corrosion of the pas pipes may occur and lead to pin-holing of the pipe." 6,086 Jaguar vehicles produced between June 27, 2009 and March 10, 2010 will be recalled before April 11 this year in the US market.
