Great Wall Hit Guangzhou Auto Show with 'Champion Quality'

On December 20, Great Wall exhibits at Guangzhou Auto Show with 15 models of cars, 2 models of hybrid powertrain, and one engine. All exhibiting models represent the determination of Great Wall to achieve "Champion Quality".

Three models among the cars on exhibition are new models to be launched in the market next year: Haval M3, Haval H6, and Voleex C50. There are also major well–accepted cars from Great Wall in different  three categories. For Voleex passenger car, there are Voleex C30, Voleex V80, 2011 Florid CROSS model and new Voleex C10; Haval SUV model includes Haval M1, Haval M2, Haval H3 Leading version, Haval H5 Euro-style version (with 2.0VGT engine and automatic transmission), and Haval H5 Extreme version; Wingle 5 is displayed for the Wingle pickup category. In addition, special vehicles are also presented including Wingle RV, and  Haval Loong Racing. The nationwide leading diesel-powered 2.0VGT engines, independently developed by Great Wall, and two advanced hybrid power assembly will also be on exhibition reflecting the R&D strengths of Great Wall in core technology.

It is worth mentioning that the highly-expected Haval H series model with five-speed automated/manual transmission will be launched at the show. Haval H5 2.0VGT diesel-powered car leads to launch the automatic transmission. It is also the first SUV model in China to equip with diesel engine and automatic transmission. The 2.0VGT engine and the five-speed manual/automatic transmission is "the gold combination" in Haval H5, highlighting its core value of prominent fuel cost efficiency and driving comfortableness.

The display of Haval M3 EV version highlights the exhibition booth of Great Walls this time. Haval M3 equipped with 1.5VVT engine will be the first car launched by Great Wall in 2011. The Haval M3 EV exhibited at the auto show is the first small electric SUV in China independently developed by Great Wall, making Guangzhou Auto Show its debut. In addition, the brand-new mid&high-end city SUV, Haval H6, developed on a new platform by Great Wall, the Voleex C50 equipped with the 1.5T turbocharging engine, Florid CROSS 2011 model with improved exterior, interior, and security, and Voleex C10 with new front grill are spotlights of the Great Wall booth.

The ceremony of Haval's second participation in Dakar Rally 2011 on behalf of Chinese automobiles and the on-site launch of the online "Spiritual Dakar" event also highlights in this auto show. The famous driver Zhou Yong will participate in the Haval SUV Dakar expedition ceremony carrying "Team of China" banner and national flag. On January 2nd of 2011, "Dakar Rally 2011" will be opened again in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Zhou Yong, The Chinese record holder and the famous driver, signs with Great Wall and will drive Haval SUV to accomplish his second journey in Dakar under China's own-brand.

In 2010, Great Wall forges ahead in big strides. Triumphant news arrives one after another: Tianjin Project, Xushui Project, and the new Technology Center started construction and put into operation successively; new results of dynamic research are released continuously, three categories of cars enter the mainstream market gradually: Voleex C30 sells over 10,000 units monthly, the total ownership of Haval SUV reaches 40,000 units, and the Wingle Pickup continues to lead the trend of pickup.
 
For the participation of Great Wall in the auto show, from Voleex Passenger Car, Haval SUV to Wingle pickup, as well as special vehicles and engines, are all designed and developed in accordance with international standards. It emphasizes the exhibition theme and product concept of Great Wall Motor---"Champion Quality from the Chinese Heart".
