The rank of Zhou Yong (Great Wall Haval) surged to the 58th by the end of the second special stage of The 2011 Dakar Rally on January 3.

Zhou Yong performed well despite the small shortcomings in the previous day's racing. "I want myself to familiarize with the car during the first three days of competition,'' he said.

As there were ups and downs in the two days of race, many fans showed their concern about Zhou Yong's state, to which he responded:"Only 60 percent of the race has been completed by now, and I have to keep balanced. I have to adapt to the car, and progress day by day."
