Crude prices drop toward 69 dollars

Oil prices dropped more than 3 percent toward 69 dollars a barrel on Tuesday as the US dollar strengthened against a basket of major currencies.
Light, sweet crude for August delivery declined 2.27 dollars, or 3.2 percent, to 69.22 dollars a barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
