Brilliance Auto to add 100 sales outlets this year

Brilliance Auto will start mass production of the hybrid Junjie model in July this year. On top of that, it will increase another 100 sales outlets, Qi Yumin, chairman of Brilliance Auto, said recently.

The core and most fundamental problem in automobile industry is to establish an international brand, and not too many in one country, three to five is enough. Branding and brand development should be set as a long-term strategy, Qi added.

Additionally, constant financial support is needed in the development of the automobile industry. However, it is not worth the trouble to take advantage of bank loans, and local government support is not completely satisfactory either. Therefore, a company may as well develop the capital market and run through the combination of capital and business to make it big.

Brilliance Auto started developing its capital market in 2009. Hence, its present good performance and assets of over 30 billion ($4.39 bln) yuan should give credit to the financing of capital market.

Furthermore, with a larger proportion, the growth is yet getting slow in the developed coastal regions, while the past so-called second- and third- tire markets are now seeing fast growths, with the fastest in the Southwest and Northwest regions, which are presently the major emerging markets for Brilliance Auto, Qi pointed out.
