Many domestic automakers are going bold and will increase their sales target for the coming year, since most of them did more than the expected in 2010, according to the Guangzhou Daily.

Gao Hongfang, manager of a local car dealer company in Guangdong Province revealed that the sales target his company will stick to in 2011 will be lifted by 10 - 20 percent.

FAW Toyota revealed that for 2011 it will place bets on 550,000 units, at the Guangzhou Auto Show. Although plagued by recalls this year, Toyota managed to stand its ground and sold half a million cars this year.

The luxury car market is also expected to expand in 2011.
