Renault-Nissan Alliance's sale volume reaches 7.27 mln in 2010

The Renault-Nissan Alliance said on January 28 the French-Japanese partnership sold 7.27 million cars and trucks in 2010, up 19.6 percent year-on-year, outpacing the global auto market's 12 percent expansion, holding a 10.3-percent share of a global market estimated at 70.5 million vehicles.

In 2010, Nissan sold 1.02 million vehicles in China, the largest market in the world for the automaker.

AvtoVAZ's Lada brand, Renault-Nissan's Russian partner, sold 570,014 vehicles in 2010, a 38-percent increase from the previous year.
