South East (Fujian) Motor Co., Ltd. (Soueast) has set its sales target to 150,000 units for 2011, according to the Beijing Business Today on Tuesday.
The automaker's newly appointed general manager Zuo Zisheng hopes the expansion of production line, the upgrading of technology and innovation of marketing all can help the company to achieve the goal.
The Chinese automaker sold more than 120,000 vehicles last year, up 41 percent year-on-year. This year, its top priority is to solve the backhaul bottleneck. According to an insider of the automaker, once the third stage factory, which has an annual production capability of 120,000 units is built, Soueast will produce 500,000 vehicles a year at most.
