BMW X1 to enter Chinese market in December

BMW's first X1 SUV model will enter the Chinese market next month.

On its Chinese web site, BMW states, “the X1 is coming, please stay tuned.” A salesman working in the showroom of BMW in China said they can't take down any pre-orders before BMW releases the price of the SUV.

Based on the same platform as the BMW 3 Series Touring, the X1 measures 4,454 x 1,798 x 1,545mm with a 2,760mm-long wheelbase. The new model features a 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder engine with a maximum of 190Kw power and 300Nm torque.
