Yulong to exploit the Chinese Mainland market with Dongfeng

Dongfeng Motor revealed Monday it has already obtained approval from the National Reform and Development Commission (NDRC) July 29 for the establishment of a joint venture (JV) with Yulon motor, the Dongfeng Yulong Motor Co. Ltd.

According to Dongfeng Motor, the new JV’s location will be in the Linjiang Industrial Park, Xiaoshan, Hangzhou in Zhe Jiang Province. Its start-off project will be to produce 120,000 passenger vehicles with mating engines annually.

In the future, the company plans to produce SUVs, MPVs, sedans, and all-electric vehicles.
