Dongfeng raises target

Dongfeng Motor Group, China's third-largest automaker, said Monday that it has raised its 2010 sales target as Chinese car makers posted strong first-half growth but expect the numbers to moderate through to year-end.

The Wuhan-based automaker expected sales this year to reach 1.8 million units, up from a previous target of 1.65 million to 1.7 million, executives said at a media briefing to discuss the company's mid-year results.
