Automakers cash in on export base for going global

The second role is as a new-type financing platform. While the auto and parts and accessories businesses improve their ability of independently innovation and optimize their exported product structure, they need also to enhance their international competitiveness with financing tools. The export base builds up a new-type financing platform for auto product export, which can take advantages of export and import credit to promote the cooperation of auto businesses and various financing organizations.

Through perfecting the functions of the overseas branches of China's financing organizations, the platform provides consulting services in terms of the bank credit of customers and buyers for exporting businesses, and provides financing and loan support for overseas distributers and terminal users. In the meantime, it acts as an export credit insurer, guiding enterprises to actively expand market and lower their operating risk with the full usage of the export credit insurance.

It encourages financial guarantors to settle down in the export base, provide guarantee for enterprises that are applying for loan from commercial banks, simplify insurance acceptance and claim settlement procedures, and stimulates commercial insurers to expand the coverage for exported complete vehicles.

The third role is as a new-type transaction platform. As the tendency of auto export gets better, all auto and parts and accessories export bases are energetically building fair transaction platforms.

They strive to converge China's strong auto parts and accessories enterprises, establish an entirely new transaction mode for exporting auto parts and accessories, and constitute a new international transaction platform that can boost the suitable exchange between auto parts and accessories enterprises and international auto field under the circumstances of rapidly-developing international trade.

The new transaction platform can encourage and organize enterprises to participate in domestically and internationally influential automobile and parts and accessories expositions, actively help them go abroad, explore market and seek for business opportunities.

"The Development and Promotion of Nation-level Auto and Parts & Accessories Export Base (Shanghai)" was conducted in Anting in the same period. During the actions, "Shanghai International Automobile Transaction Center" was officially set up. The nation-level auto and parts & accessories export base (Shanghai) hopes to further perfect its trade function of exporting auto and parts and accessories, and act as a booster for Shanghai and even China's auto industry trade from the industrial cluster fostering.
