Chinese driver confident for upcoming Dakar Rally

The Rely-Doublestar, Chinese team that will compete in the world-renowned off-road rally, the Dakar Rally, shows itself well prepared for the event, which is scheduled to take place on January 1, 2011 in the Argentine capital of Buenos Aires.

Lu Ningjun, a veteran driver of Dakar, said the team consists of both old and young drivers.

Lu also said that the team, whose name is a mixture of two Chinese car companies, is confident to reach the top 19 in the event.
