Dongfeng PSA to expand dealer network into 164 cities

Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile Co., Ltd., a joint venture between PSA Peugeot Citroen and Dongfeng Motor Corp, has recently held an investment fair in Zhuhai and Shanghai, roping in 102 investors to expand its dealer network into 164 cities, the Beijing Times reported Thursday.

Dongfeng PSA has never stopped expanding its network in the world's largest auto market. Its two arms: Dongfeng Citroen and Dongfeng Peugeot have all opened new dealerships in China this year, adding 57 and 60 respectively.

Dongfeng Citroen now has large-, medium-, small- and micro-sized sales outlets of 270 in total, while Dongfeng Peugeot has 220.

In the next five years, Dongfeng PSA aims to set up dealerships in various sizes in nearly 500 cities across the country.

Dongfeng PSA sales rose more than 40% to approximately 333,000 vehicles in the first eleven months this year, a solid and pleasing performance making it possible for the company to achieve its full-year sales target of 370,000 units.
