Brilliance Auto keen to build world-acknowledged brand

Adhering to the tenet of "keeping abreast with the world with synchronous technology and synchronous development", Brilliance Auto conducts deep cooperation with noted international auto design companies. Meanwhile, it is speeding up its independent development. In 2007, it took the lead in China to introduce 1.8T turbo-supercharged engine, which represents China's top-notch technology and world-leading technology. Days are gone when China's automakers produced middle and high-class sedans while having to deeply depend on foreign key technologies.
While striving to fulfill the group's 11th five-year plan, Qi and his team are mapping out another strategic plan of "quadrupling in two steps" for the 12th Five-year Plan period. In Phase I, Brilliance Auto will increase vehicle sales volume from 500,000 to 1 million; in Phase II, by 2015 it will double its sales volume again to 2 million. Therefore, Brilliance Auto has planned and kicked off the Phase I capacity-expansion and Phase II construction-expansion project for BMW Brilliance, class-A Zhonghua auto project, as well as a host of projects covering all product lines including light buses, light trucks and minivans.
Mr. Qi noted "Brilliance Auto will not stop here. We must map out the 12th Five-year Plan as soon as possible". The centerpiece of the plan is to deepen reform and eradicate deep-rooted evils, to lay a solid system foundation for the group's next 5-year blueprint.
