Jaguar Land Rover opened its largest Jaguar showroom worldwide in Beijing over the weekend, hoping to cash in on the world's fastest-growing luxury auto market.

Media reports said last year the UK-based luxury vehicle business, owned by India's Tata Motors, will produce more than 50,000 vehicles a year from a new plant in China.

Bob Grace, president of Jaguar Land Rover China, declined to confirm whether his firm was in talks with potential domestic partners Chery Automobile or Chang'an Automobile.
