BYD sells over 140,000 units in first 5 months

BYD F3

Automaker BYD Auto sold 144,741 vehicles in the first five months this year. Its F3 model is the No.1 seller for BYD, with 96,181 units sold.

BYD plans to sell 400,000 units in 2009, hoping to gain a 100 percent increase from a year earlier. And to help reach this goal, BYD will launch five new models later this year, the M6, S8, G3, L3 and S6.

At present, BYD F3 and F6 are its key car models in the market.
