Geely, Ford Volvo talks faltering: reports

Geely Holding Group Co.'s attempt to acquire Volvo from Ford Motor Co. has stalled over a disagreement on intellectual property rights, according to Reuters.

Geely and Ford officials are meeting in London this week to resolve Ford's concerns about sharing technology and future product plans.

The $2 million deal has been at the negotiating table for 10 months.

Volvo Cars spokeswoman Maria Bohlin said, "Our response is, like always, that we cannot comment on the sales process."
