Geely's car sales up 26% in March

Geely Automobile Holdings Ltd said that its car sales in March increased 25.6 percent from a year earlier to 30,249 units.
Sales grew 68 percent year-on-year to 102,838 units in the first quarter of the year, the Hong Kong-listed unit of Zhejiang Geely Holding Group said.
The first three months sales of 2010 accounted for 25.7 percent of Geely's full-year target of 400,000 units, the company added.
Geely's net profit grew 35 percent year-on-year to 1.18 billion yuan ($172.8 million) last year. Revenue grew to 14.07 billion yuan in 2009 from 4.29 billion yuan in 2008.
The top three best-selling models are the Free Cruiser, the Kingkong and Vision. And Geely's luxury brand Emgrand sold 4,321 units, up 29 percent from a month earlier.
