Hyundai Kia January sales in China up 12.7%

Hyundai Kia's sold 111,200 cars (excluding export models ) in China this January, an increase of 12.7 percent year-on-year, according to the China Business News.
Of the total, Beijing Hyundai contributed 72,300 units, while Dongfeng Yueda Kia sold 38,900, up 13.1 percent and 12 percent year-on-year respectively.
Hyundai Kia's global sales last month stood at 527,000, a surge of 17.8 percent year-on-year.
With 5.74 million units sold and a record 8 percent market share on hand, Kia exceeded Ford to become the world's fourth largest automaker last year
Some new models from the company such as Beijing Hyundai YF Sonata and Dongfeng Yueda Kia K5 will be launched this year in China, according to the report.
