Automakers cautious in 2011

Dongfeng's target
Dongfeng Motor Corporation released its 2011 sales volume target on Monday, planning to sell 2.9 million vehicles in 2011 and to realize a sales income of 3.8 trillion yuan ($57 billion).
The company sold 2.6 million vehicles, up 37.8 percent from 2009, which is higher than the industrial average level.
Xu Ping, Chairman of Dongfeng Motor said the company will try its best in 2011 to become the nation's best automaker as well as a first-class auto company worldwide.

Shanghai GM: 1.15 million units
FAW-Toyota: 550,000 units
Chery: 900,000 units
Geely: 490,000 units
Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen: 425,000 units
FAW Jilin: 180,000 units
Great Wall: 550,000 units
Dongfeng-Nissan: 772,000 units
Dongnan Cars: 150,000 units
