Dongfeng January sales boomed

Dongfeng commercial vehicle company revealed its sales volume of January recently as 32,548 units, 45 percent higher than that of last year. The Chinese automaker has set its sales target this year to over 300,000 units.

Dongfeng Nissan's January sales hit a record of 75,318 units. Dongfeng Nissan Teana sold 17,645 last month, while Qashqai's sales reached 7,132, the highest in Qashqai's history. The New Sunny, which was launched in December last year, realized a sales volume of 10,811 in January, with over 14,000 orders last month. Sylphy managed to keep its monthly sales at 13,694 units. 39 percent of the products Dongfeng Nissan sold last month were 2.0L sedans, showing that the joint venture has consolidated its high-end brand image.

Dongfeng Automobile Co., (DFAC) sold 26,815 cars in January with a year-on-year growth of 33.86 percent. Dongfeng Honda CR-V hit a new record of SUV sales in China at 16,000 units. Dongfeng Hongda also broke its sales record with 28,800 units. Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile hit a record by selling 41,927 cars last month.
