Toyota Zelas to enter China in dual version

Toyota Zelas is expected to enter the Chinese market in mid-2011 with two versions priced at 256,800 yuan ($38,926) and 288,800 yuan ($43,785).

Without enough small cars (minis and coupes) in the biggest automobile market in the world, Toyota hopes to attract young people with the launching of Zelas.

Toyota Zelas is powered by a 2.5 liter inline four cylinder engine, and boasts 182 horsepower. It features gadgets like Bluetooth, audio with eight speakers, parking sensors and electronic mirrors. It is also equipped with safety features such as eight airbags, traction control and ABS-EBD brakes.
