The Geely Emgrand EC718 will be available in mid-August, with a starting price of 80,000 yuan.

Vice CEO and spokesman of Geely Wang Ziliang said this sedan model and the EC718-RV hatchback are produced by Geely's plant in Ningbo, Zhejiang Province in east China.

Customers can choose between the 1.5L or 1.8L Geely D-CVVT engines for the EC718, which come in five-speed manual or automatic transmission, maximum 102Kw power and 172Nm torque.

Wang said the hatchback will be available at the end of the year.
