Beijing Hyundai plans to launch the i30 hatchback with 1.6- and 2.0-liter engines on September 9 in China. With a 1.6L Gamma engine, the i30 can reach a maximum power of 91kW and maximum torque of 155Nm. Noh Jae Man, Beijing Hyundai Motor Co's president said the company is expecting to sell about 40,000 i30 cars annually.
