The Dalian Auto Show sold 5,970 vehicles, and had a turnover of almost 1.4 billion yuan, up 15.5 percent from a year earlier.

There were 536 companies participating in the five-day show which was held August 18 to 23. Mercedes-Benz and BMW sold over 200 units in total during the auto show.
