2011 Audi A8
The revamped Audi A8 for 2011 is loaded with gadgets — handwriting recognition, terrain-predicting transmission controls and automatic turn signals. Even the steering wheel is equipped with a vibration-canceling motor. And Audi may be the first to take the plunge by adding maps and images from Google Earth. The bird's eye views and three-dimensional satellite images of the planet from Google Earth require a connection to the Web, so the A8 will include a high-speed cellular data connection to download images.
2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet
The 2011 Mercedes-Benz E-Class Cabriolet joins a sedan, wagon and coupe in the E-Class family. There are two engines choices: a 268-horsepower 3.5-liter V-6 or a 382-horsepower 5.5-liter V-8. The new E-Class convertible also features an exclusive AirCap - a windshield-mounted diffuser that can be raised up to six inches and rechannel the flow of air out of the cockpit.
