Geely Lanzhou manufacturing plant expanded

Geely signed an agreement with the Lanzhou municipal government on Friday to expand its Lanzhou based plant.

According to the agreement, Geely's auto factory in Lanzhou will expand its annual production capacity to 120,000 units from 50,000 units, and it will become the largest auto plant in western China  with an annual income estimated at over tens of billions of yuan.

By 2015, Geely is targetting annual sales of 2 million vehicles, with two-thirds coming from export markets, An Conghui, vice president of Geely added at the aggreement signning ceremony.
