The 2010 Porsche Cayenne, which has a significantly improved performance and chassis suspension will make its debut at Auto China 2010 in April.
Cayenne, a sport-utility vehicle (SUV), applies direct fuel injection (DFI) and VarioCam Plus valve management, thus enhancing power and reducing fuel consumption by 15 percent.
The new Porsche Cayenne is available in five models, each with its own engine. The base Cayenne is the most economical, with a 3.6-liter V6 producing 300hp, while the Cayenne Turbo has a 4.8-liter V8 engine with 500hp.
The chassis suspension system features a self-leveling ride-height control, which helps maintain a constant ground clearance, regardless of vehicle load.
The smooth lines and newly-added LED running lights make the new Cayenne more stylish. The new vehicle also reduces the total weight by about 200kg compared to the previous model. That's because the car is produced with high tensile structural and lightweight steel.
The Cayenne is expected to enter the China market in July, with prices yet to be determined.
