Auto China 2010 preview: Dongfeng Fengshen S30 BSG

The Dongfeng Fengshen S30 BSG hybrid will make its appearance at the 2010 Beijing Auto Show in April. The sedan features an auto-start stop system, and the belt-starter-generator (BSG) system can stop the engine when the driver is idling for a certain period of time, and can start to run in 0.4 seconds.

There is also a button for drivers to have the option to switch the car from traditional to BSG economy mode.

Dongfeng Motor will start mass producing the vehicle after the Beijing Auto Show and hopes to sell the model to the Chinese market by the end of 2010.
