Racers of Rely – Doublestar completed the highest stage

Racers of Rely- Doublestar Racing Team finished the stage at the highest altitude at Dakar Rally Wednesday.
Two racing cars from Rely – Doublestar driven by Jiang Yaohuan / Lv Yiyu (navigator) and Liu Kun / Maurizio Dominella (navigator) ranked 36th and 44th respectively in the stage. Liu Kun / Maurizio Dominella ranked 49th on the list of the comprehensive result, while Jiang Yaohuan / Lv Yiyu ranked 89th.
Wednesday's stage started from San Salvador de Jujuy in Argentina to Calama in Chile, covering a length of 761 miles, among which 554 miles are driving sections, including 207 miles of special stage. Competitors had to drive through the Andes Mountains, in which the highest part is at 4,800 meters above sea level.
Large temperature difference in Calama and 6 - 7 hours' drive at 3000 to 4000 meters high above sea level in the Andes Mountains were big challenges for racers.
