The interior styling of the 408 highlights and makes maximum use of the space offered by the half-height architecture, while the design and top of-the-range materials used create an incontestable perception of quality.
By way of example, the dashboard design is uncluttered, elegant and flowing, with a particularly wide field of vision due to the steeply sloping windscreen that is almost symmetrical with the front body pillars.

– hints of the 408's dynamism are subtly apparent in some of the "V" shaped interior styling details, such as of the ring banding the gear lever, the design of the upper part of the wraparound seat squabs, or even the shape of the front roof light assembly.
