Handling
Xgo.com:
The forward suspension setting of the Volkswagen CC is hard while the rear feels soft, endorsing the car's decent performance. The throttle feels tender in low rpm, but its 280 nm torque will totally burst out from 1,800 to 5,000 rpm. The wide range of maximum torque output is of great use for driving in city.
Automobile.com.cn:
The CC is a comfy car -- its steering wheel, gear box, suspension have proved it. To improve its sport talent, the suspension was also set to be more supportive and the steering directivity more accurate.
Cheshi.com:
The BAIC-Volkswagen CC has the classic 2.0 TSI Turbo GDI engine under the hood, and accompanied with 6-gear duel-clutch DSG transmission, the engine is able to fully perform its 147 kW power and 280 Nm torque. Even with the ESP on, the driver can still feel the "start leap" while you hit heavily on the throttle pedal. The CC is equipped with Macpherson forward suspension and quadra-link-bar independent rear suspension. The general feeling about the driving is comfy.
BitAuto.com:
6-gear DSG duel-clutch transmission and TSI engine makes no difference under the hood between the CC and the Magton. The DCC (Dynamic Drive Control) Positive Suspension Control System which is equipped on the Chinese-made CCs doesn't show up on any of the domestic ones. Although the exterior of the car looks sporty, the suspension seems just for comfort.
