Based on the Ford Verve concept, the new 2010 Fiesta drops its boring looks for a more aggressive, young and fun Ford kinetic design theme. Whether you purchase the Fiesta in a 5-door or 3-door configuration, the Fiesta is sure to attract quite a bit of attention. From the front to rear, the new Fiesta demands presence with a sloping A-pillar that sets it apart from rivals such as the Honda Fit, Toyota Yaris and the Nissan Versa. What many have come to known as Ford’s dullest car, the 2010 Fiesta has completely broken the mold with its bold exterior design.

It helps that this small Ford is a stylish and solidly built piece. With its wedgy beltline, sexy roofline, pronounced fender flares and high-set faceted taillights delivered largely intact from the Verve concept, the Fiesta shows off Ford's new kinetic design. The somewhat bulbous front end, with the Blue Oval perched above a broad-based trapezoidal intake, says "international" far better than the quasi-Art Deco three-bar treatment of the Fusion, Edge and Taurus.

The styling is now more curved and complex and is in keeping with Ford of Europe's current "kinetic design" ethos. The U.S. model will have more brightwork on the front to make a visual connection with Ford's other North American cars. Otherwise, what you see here is what you'll get.
