GM to announce tentative sale of Hummer

According to the Wall Street Journal (WSJ), General Motors plans to announce a tentative sale of the Hummer brand today, less than a day after filing for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection.

The name of Hummer'ss future owner(s) won't be released Tuesday, but WSJ sources say the deal could be done by the end of the third quarter. GM's plants in Indiana and Louisiana will continue to make H2 and H3.
