Honda ends US motorcycle production

Honda Motor Co Ltd has stopped producing motorcycles in the US.

The company said in February 2008 that the plant which is in Marysville, Ohio closed on July 28, with the work shifting to Japan. Motorcycles and exported to the US.

The Ohio plant was Honda's first factory in the US when it opened in 1979. It assembled the Gold Wing since 1981.
