Toyota raises 2009 output target by 3%

Toyota Motor Corp plans to raise its output target for January 2009 to March 2010 by 3 percent to 6.5 million vehicles, the Yomiuri newspaper reported August 9.

Toyota officials were not immediately available for comment.
