Mercedes-Benz hybrid car enters Israeli market

Colmobil Group, which imports Mercedes-Benzes into Israel, has begun selling upgraded S-Class series cars with hybrid engines.

The Mercedes S400 hybrid has a V6 3.5-liter engine and 7-speed automatic transmission. It can speed from zero to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds and its top speed can reach 250 km/h. The price of the S400 in Israel will be NIS 870,000 ($230,000)

The new S350 will cost NIS 815,000 and the extended S500 sedan will cost NIS 985,000.
