Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud received on Friday the US Special Representative for Syria Engagement James Jeffrey in Jeddah.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and discussed the latest regional developments and the efforts exerted towards them.

Jeffery was a former infantryman, ambassador to Turkey and Iraq and 35-year veteran of the Foreign Service. He was appointed in his current post in August 2018 to negotiate the Syrian issue with concerned countries.
