China and Egypt signed on Monday an agreement to supply educational equipment for the Egyptian-Chinese School for Applied Technology at Suez Canal University.
The agreement was signed by Egyptian Minister of Investment and International Cooperation Sahar Nasr and the Chinese Ambassador to Egypt Liao Liqiang.
During the ceremony, Nasr said the Egyptian-Chinese school is a model of the partnership between the two countries in the vocational education area.
She pointed out that this agreement is in line with President Abdel-Fattah al-Sisi's vision to improve the technical and technological education system at all levels and prepare youth to meet the market requirements.
For his part, Liao said that the Egyptian-Chinese school is the first joint project between the two countries in the field of technical education.
Since the upgrading of relations between China and Egypt to a comprehensive strategic partnership in 2014, cultural exchanges have been at their peaks as demonstrated by frequent mutual visits between artists as well as cultural and musical delegations.
