A: Why did you buy so many apples to just pile them up in your home?

B: A new fruit shop opened downstairs. The fruit is sold at wholesale prices during this week. I thought it was cheap, so I bought a bit more. 

我家楼下新开了一家水果店,所有水果在这周内都按照批发价卖,我看着便宜就多买了一些。

A: You're close to being able to open your own fruit shop. When you bought this, did you consider the fact that the expiration date for fruit is very short? 

你都快能开一家水果店了,你在买的时候没考虑水果的保质期一般都很短吗？

B: That's why I invited you over for some apples. Those we can't finish, I'll give to others as gifts. 

所以我今天才邀请你来我家吃苹果,吃不完的我再送给其他人当礼物。
