A special documentary about how Chinese restaurants operate overseas, Chinese Banquet, is in the works for Chinese streaming site iQiyi, the site announced on Thursday.

The series will focus on Chinese restaurants scatted around the world that help spread China's food culture and the philosophy of Chinese people. 

According to Fu Zhenggang, vice president of iQiyi, the show marks the continuation of its cooperation with Chinese winemaker Jing Pai, with which the site has produced content such as drama series The Thunder and show My Country and Me.
