A: Following in Shanghai's footsteps, Beijing and Tianjin are going to start separating garbage.

继上海之后,北京,天津也要开始推行垃圾分类了。

B: Where are all those people who were laughing at the misfortune of Shanghai residents back then? Now that it's their turn, they are starting to worry. 

当初对上海市民幸灾乐祸的人都跑到哪里去了？轮到自己,才开始发愁。

(dānɡchū duì shànɡhǎi shìmín xìnɡzāilèhuò de rén dōu pǎodào nǎlǐqùle? lúndào zìjǐ, cái kāishǐ fāchóu.)

A: To be honest, I'm willing to separate my trash to protect the environment, so long as the procedure isn't too complicated or overly strict. 

 说实话,我是愿意认真分类保护环境的,前提是分类程序不要太过繁琐,太过严格。

(shuō shíhuà, wǒshì yuànyì rènzhēn fēnlèi bǎohù huánjìnɡ de, qiántí shì fēnlèichénɡxù bùyào tàiɡuò fánsuǒ, tàiɡuò yánɡé.)

B: Isn't it enough that we are taking care of the environment and making less trash? 

我们能重视环境保护,少制造垃圾不就够了吗？
