China Post is scheduled to launch a set of commemorative stamps on November 28 to commemorate Friedrich Engels' 200th birthday.

This set of stamps designed by Chinese artist Wu Weishan adopts sketch representation. The first picture shows a bust of young Engels, with the background of Engels's former residence. The second picture shows the image of Engels in his later years at work, with the background of the Chinese version of The Communist Manifesto covered with the portraits of Marx and Engels and the cover of the Chinese version of Das Kapital. 

The face value of the full set of stamps is 2.40 yuan ($ 0.37). The planned release quantity is 7.5 million sets.
