The music fountain, located right at the foot of the world-renowned Big Wild Goose Pagoda, ranks as the largest of its kind in Asia with an area of 252
mu (16.8 ha). Controlled by computer, the fountains shoot streams of water that vary in height and shape in accordance with the rhythm of music. Although Xi'an has been experiencing a constantly high temperature of over 35℃ for quite a few days, the intense heat had little effect on tourists' enthusiasm for enjoying the "dance of water". The night view is considered to be especially breathtaking, when the fountain is illuminated by LED lights.
