George William Sampson, star of the first-ever 3D dance film, Street Dance 3D, described his experiences making the transition from on-stage to behind the camera in the high-profile film as an "exciting" experience that captures the thrill of his 2008 win on Britain’s Got Talent.
"Who else gets to star in 3D in his very first movie role?" he said. "It’s such a different experience, dancing for the camera versus dancing for an audience – and particularly, when it comes to 3D, we had to do each move so many times, it was really exhausting, but worth it."
Street Dance 3D also includes appearances from dance troupes Diversity and Flawless, fellow winners of Britain’s Got Talent. It comes out this month on the Chinese Mainland.
