Over 200 frogs hopped across the roads in Xianrendong village, Changping district, this weekend, but many of them were flattened by vehicles, the Beijing Evening News reported.

One driver said he carefully avoided the frogs but still found many of them had died by 9:30 pm Saturday. Villagers suspect the weather conditions resulted in the plague of frogs.
