Lin Junde
Lin Junde, an academic at the Chinese Academy of Engineering, had spent 52 years working in the Gobi Desert, participating in nearly every nuclear test conducted there.
Lin received more than 30 science and technology awards over the course of his career, including several from the government and the military.
Lin died on May 31, 2012 at the age of 74.

Jia Yuanyou
Jia Yuanyou, Han nationality, born in January 1980, is a master sergeant, 4th class, a mechanized infantry regiment of a group army, the Beijing Military Area Command of the Chinese People’s Liberation Army (PLA).
Jia Yuanyou joined the PLA in December 1998 and the Communist Party of China in November 2001.
Jia Yuanyou was honored the titles of the "excellent member of the Communist Party of China (CPC)", the "PLA pacesetter in loving the army and mastery of military skills" of the PLA. He also won twice the Outstanding Talented NCO Award of the PLA, the second-class merit once and the third-class merit once.

Lei Feng's regiment

Mao Zedong launched a national campaign to "learn from comrade Lei Feng," and designated March 5 as Learn Lei Feng Day.
For the past five decades Lei Feng, the icon of selflessness, modesty and dedication, has served as a model of moral virtue and devotion to the Party and the people.
